Have you always wanted to participate in the olive harvest and produce your own olive oil? Just like in old movies, we'll pick olives one by one from the tree or strip them from the branches by hand and put them in buckets. We don't use any machines or other tools. This method of harvesting olives doesn't damage either the trees or the olives. We'll not only harvest our own trees but also help a friend who runs an olive grove. Afterward, we'll go to the oil press, where you can watch as the olives are cleaned, pressed, and processed into oil. You'll also learn how to preserve olives so they can be enjoyed year-round, as well as how to combat diseases and pests, and much more. Each helper receives one liter of olive oil to take home.
